Jammu and Kashmir

Kashmir, Heaven on Earth as its called, beautiful, dangerly beautiful, dangerous and beautiful.

OK, Kashmir always remained on my list of dream destinations since childhood, but incidents over there and ban on tourists din't let me reach there. Have not been to Jammu too, and when got a chance din't delay to have quick peek, Jammu can wait, Kashmir cannot.

Going through different roads always made me curious which is the NH1 (national highway number 1). May be google could help, but never searched on google, I did see NH2 many times (Kolkata-Delhi), but which is NH1...... while going to Sonemarg from Srinagar, I found out, its the way to Ladakh-Lay from Srinagar that is NH1. Wow, what a discovery. :D

There are few amazing gardens in Srinagar, and apple trees, also Keshar of Kashmir is famous, and food here is also quite great, not to forget the Shawls and other warm cloths. I don't want to go to any disputed topic, but its famous for its border too. :P

One thing I noticed over there: 50% of people over there are of armed force (military, para military, police), 25% are tourist and rest 25% local people. Data is not actual data and must be not even close to actual data, its just I felt like it there. Yes, tension is there in the air, and also extra security, but that din't stop tourists from all around the world to reach there. :)
